My name is Mai, and I am an abstract artist originally from Kyoto, Japan, now based in Toronto. I am a self-taught artist, and my journey began when I moved to Canada ten years ago. It was through this journey that I discovered my true passion and the creative outlet that has become my life's work.

Through my art, I aim to create a visual language that transcends borders and speaks to the universal human experience. I draw inspiration from the unique cultural experiences of my Japanese heritage and the vibrant energy of my second home in Canada.
